The university elections are used to elect representatives to the Senate, the Faculty Councils and the Student Parliament. Every member of the University listed in the electoral register is eligible to vote and stand for election. The elections are organised and implemented by the Elections Office.
At the University of Passau, appointed representatives and interest groups are responsible for advocating for the interests of different groups of people and subject areas.
Ombudspersons and confidential advisers are independent and neutral contact persons for specific topics and are appointed by the University for a term of three years. They act as contact persons for all members of the University for their respective areas of responsibility and groups of people.
