Master's degrees

The springboard for your career

Do you have high aspirations? A Master's degree from the University of Passau opens many doors and qualifies you for executive positions in the private and public sector, as well as giving you access to doctoral study. It is indispensable if you are considering a career in research.

Master's programmes are research-oriented postgraduate programmes. To qualify for a Master's programme, you must have a first degree (e.g. Bachelor's or one of the long-cycle degrees such as the state examination). Based on this first degree, you will be able to consolidate your expertise in the Master's programme, specialise or obtain valuable additional qualifications.

The University of Passau offers a large selection of Master's degree programmes, centred around the core competences in Business and Economics, Law, Cultural Studies and Computer Science. Internationalism and linguistic competence are a hallmark of nearly all Master's programmes in Passau.
