The Bavarian Higher Education Digitalisation Association (BHEDA) is a Bavaria-wide university network that includes all state and state-funded universities as well as the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities.
The remit of BHEDA is to support and coordinate cooperative IT and digitalisation projects and to create the conditions for this by means of a structured exchange of information between the Bavarian universities.
The association’s central office is based at the University of Passau and headed by the Chief Information Officer.
