Many scholarship programmes involve lengthy application processes, which is why it is important that you inform yourself about the expected costs at an early stage and consider what financing might look like.
The amount of the Erasmus+ mobility allowance depends on the total amount allocated by the DAAD to the University of Passau. Possible funding through the Erasmus Mobility Grant is automatically checked when an application is submitted; a separate application by the students is not necessary. You can expect to receive a certain monthly mobility grant which may vary slightly each year.
The German Academic Exchange Service (Deutsche Akademische Austauschdienst, DAAD) is the largest funding organisation for international academic exchange and offers a variety of scholarship programmes. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of subject-related qualifications and personal suitability. The application documents must be sent directly to the DAAD.

Necessary tuition fees of up to 4,600 euros per academic year can be covered. Scholarships from the DAAD or also PROMOS or ISAP remain credit-free up to an amount of EUR 300.
