The examination management software POS/HISQIS from HIS GmbH has been discontinued by the provider, meaning it will no longer be further developed, and support will be discontinued in the medium term.
By the turn of the year 2022/2023, we have already migrated a large portion of all student examination data from POS to EXA with the introduction of HISinOne-EXA. However, there is currently still dual operation with POS for approximately 300 students
As of April 1, 2024, POS/HISQIS will be completely shut down. Consequently, on February 19, 2024, six additional examination regulation versions were transferred to the campus portal. For a cohort of 65 students, examination management including document issuance, etc., will be fully manually managed through the examination secretariat starting from April 1, 2024.
All relevant information for the transition can be found in the corresponding section regarding the new management location of the examination versions.
For questions and comments regarding the shutdown of POS, please contact EXA-Management.
The end of the dual operation represents a simplification for you in examination administration: all students are in the campus portal for examination planning, no entries need to be made in POS for grade entry, etc.
If you cannot find students in the campus portal, please compare the examination regulation version of the students with the individual examination regulation versions that are manually managed (see upper section) and in such cases, contact the examination secretariat.
The following examination regulation versions have been subsequently transferred to the campus portal, starting from February 19, 2024:
From February 19 onwards, students of the aforementioned programs can register for exams and withdraw from them through the campus portal. You can register and deregister for exams through the campus portal. Corresponding quick guides can be found at Brief Instructions for Students.
