The registration deadline and examination dates in the Public Law introductory module for Constitutional Law I and Constitutional Law II can be found on the website of the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Law.
Second resit of module examinations:
As of now, students who are studying in accordance with the examination regulations in the 2010 version also have two resit attempts for all modules. Previously, this was only possible for a single module. This is governed by a transitional provision (§ 12) in the subject study and examination regulations (version 2018).
Some chairs require additional information from students for the purpose of organising examinations. Please be sure to check the webpages of the relevant chairs for additional registration requirements.
Please note that the examinations of the Faculty of Law may have earlier registration and examination dates. Please contact the examiners for information, if you are unsure of the dates.
Resit examinations: According to § 16(1) of the study and examination regulations for B.A. Governance and Public Policy, resits for failed examinations must take place within 6 months. The resit period is extended by a further 6 months if the module is not offered in the semester immediately following the failed examination.
Language modules in excess of the required ECTS credits in competence module E can be marked as additional assessments up to the point at which you request your degree certificate and academic transcripts. In your bachelor's programme, you can select the better, consecutive examination achievements of a language; these are not automatically selected by the system. Should you require early deselection of your additional language assessments for application purposes, inform us of this requirement in writing (simple letter, no form required).
