The Research Forum in the Sustainability Hub is an administrative structure that promotes interdisciplinary and cross-faculty research at the University of Passau. It is used for the internal networking of academics with an interest in interdisciplinary research in the field of sustainability. The Research Forum brings together academics from the University to discuss, identify and concretise research topics and projects. In cooperation with strategic research funding, it sharpens the university's research profile internally and externally, across faculties, interdisciplinary and topic-orientated. An important aspect is the involvement of young academics in the research activities of the University of Passau.
The Research Forum in the Sustainability Hub provides small amounts of funding for inter-faculty and interdisciplinary research projects related to sustainability at the University of Passau, in particular research by members of the non-professorial teaching staff. Members of the Research Forum can find more information on this in the corresponding StudIP group.
The Research Forum in the Sustainability Hub is managed by a team of spokespersons in consultation with the management of the Sustainability Hub. They form the steering committee of the research forum.
