After the successful Cuba week in 2015 at the University of Passau, the Language Department's Spanish lecturers are planning another similar project - this time on the occasion of Havana's 500th anniversary.
The aim of this interdisciplinary project is to give students and interested citizens of Passau the opportunity to get a multifaceted picture of Havana through lectures and a workshop. On Friday, 15/11/2019 and on Saturday, 16/11/2019, German and Cuban scientists will hold various lectures with subsequent discussions. The scientific program will be rounded off with a workshop on Cuban dances, a photographic exhibition and a Spanish regular's table.
The organizing team consists of students of the language center's Spanish courses under the guidance of the Spanish Lectorate.
