Some employers require proof that the desired internship is a compulsory internship.
The eligibility of your internship for recognition as a compulsory internship can only be checked by the internship officer of your degree programme after the end of the internship.
For this reason, the ZKK is unfortunately not authorised to issue you with a certificate for a specific compulsory internship. For most employers, however, a so-called internship confirmation with the relevant regulations on internships from the study regulations of your degree programme is sufficient. Forms can be found below in the internship recommendations.
Send the corresponding completed form together with a certificate of study – and for degree programmes with several available StuPOs with page 1 of your certificate of coursework and assessments – to zkk@uni-passau.de. You will receive the document back from us after signing, usually as a PDF by e-mail; if you require an original on paper, please let us know explicitly.
If the confirmation of internship with the extract from your study regulations is not sufficient for your employer as a certificate for a compulsory internship, you can sign an affidavit yourself and also hand it in. This is not signed or confirmed by any university office. With an affidavit, you confirm that you wish to have the internship recognised as a compulsory internship after the end of the internship.
For students of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities: if your internship provider requires a more explicit text, please contact the degree programme coordinator. We only issue certificates with the texts from the templates below.
Students enrolled in a teacher education programme should contact the programme coordinator at the Teacher Education Centre (ZLF).
You already have an internship and your company now requires the University to co-sign the internship contract?
The University of Passau can co-sign the contracts provided below. Contracts that do not correspond to the templates provided by us must be carefully checked by our Legal Affairs Division – which is very time-consuming. We therefore ask you to use only our model contracts. Please send your completed contract template together with a current certificate of enrolment by e-mail to zkk@uni-passau.de
