University Elections
The university elections take place every year towards the end of the summer semester. Students elect their student representatives to represent their concerns to the university. The regular term of office for all student representatives is one year.
Students elect student representatives to the following committees in the university elections held each summer semester:
- to the Senate,
- to the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Law,
- to the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics,
- to the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Humanities and Cultural Studies,
- to the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Education and
- to the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Passau and
- to the student parliament.
Since 2024, university elections have been held online via Stud.IP.
