Invitation to the Sustainability Roundtable on 16 January

The Sustainability Hub cordially invites you to the next Sustainability Roundtable taking place in room Juridicum 147b (Law Faculty Building, Innstrasse 39) on 16 January from 14:15 to 15:45. This year, as part of the University's climate action concept, we will be focusing more closely on measures we intend to implement on campus over the next ten to fifteen years. In aid of this, we are offering five workshops on the natural environment, energy, procurement, mobility and waste/water. The first one will be about the natural environment on campus. On Tuesday, 16 January 2024 from 14:15 to 15:45 in Juridicum VR147b you can contribute your ideas for the campus.

We are delighted to invite you to join us in focusing on sustainability and climate protection on campus! The Sustainability Hub invites you to actively participate. Our Sustainability Roundtables are an open networking format that is intended for the entire university community – both staff and students.

We meet regularly to work together to make the campus more sustainable. Your ideas and commitment are needed Be part of our community and let's act together for a greener future. We look forward to seeing you in our meetings!

We will also discuss the possibility of participating in the ESD conference. The conference will take place from 7 to 9 October 2024 and take the motto #wandelUP collaboratively shaping transformative education at schools and higher education institutions. The event is aligned with the four competence fields of the EU Competence Framework for Sustainability (GreenComp) : Embedding sustainability values, Embracing complexity in sustainability, Envisioning sustainable futures and Acting for sustainability. Especially in the area of Action we cordially invite you to participate in various formats. We will present the idea of the congress and possible participation formats to you at the RTN and look forward to your suggestions.

A call for papers [German content] has been issued for scientific meetings, which you are welcome to participate in or forward to anyone interested.
