The goal of the Working Group Research Data Management (RDM) is to support researchers at the University of Passau in all matters related to the handling of their research data.
Therefore, the working group organizes upcoming training courses and information events and provides a range of handouts on various RDM topics. The services are constantly being expanded.

It is essential that early career researchers understand the principles and methodologies underpinning research data management and develop the competencies needed for the proper handling of data. The University will systematically expand its offering of training courses delivered through its central facilities and services.
As part of its training programme for doctoral students, the University Library is offering a research data management module.
