Here's how:
- Navigate to the booking platform at https://dticket-fuer-studenten-passau.rvv.de [German content].
- You will be asked to enter your e-mail address and IBAN (bank account number) to enable RVV to deduct the Deutschlandticket fee from your bank account using direct debit.
- Check your e-mail inbox and click on the confirmation link in the e-mail from RVV.
You must be enrolled as a student at the University of Passau to purchase this subscription. The discounted Deutschlandticket for students is valid throughout Germany.
As previously announced, the discounted Deutschlandticket fee, which is 29 euros per month, will be further reduced pro rata by your semester bus pass fee, so that you will in fact only be charged 23.70 euros per month.
The subscription is automatically renewed every month. If you wish to stop your ticket from renewing at the beginning of the next month, you have to cancel your Deutschlandticket subscription within the first 10 days of the current month.
The tickets are sent to you monthly by e-mail - as a PDF (print-at-home solution) and as a wallet link that allows you to download the ticket straight to your smartphone.
