Self-defence training for women (in German and English) in winter semester 2023–24
To overcome a potentially violent situation it is helpful to have a high level of self-confidence and knowledge of self-defence techniques. This training course teaches you quick and simple, and above all effective physical intervention techniques that are designed to give you more control over situations where you are threatened with physical and/or psychological violence, and thus give you greater self-confidence. Your own safety is always the top priority.
The following content is taught:
- De-escalation techniques in threatening situations
- Self-defence techniques against punches
- Techniques for breaking out of various restraining locks without resorting to excessive force
- Controlling your distance to the opponent and moving while in a fighting stance
- The instructors encourage you to ask your own questions on specific situations
Instructors
Bekim Prenaj and Federico Marrone have many years of experience as self-defence instructors. More information on the trainers can be found here (unfortunately only in German).
Simultaneous translation in English
Kathrin Schopf will assist the two trainers and deliver simultaneous translation in English.
