German Language Courses of the Deutsch-Uni Online (DUO)

The course was specially developed for international students. It offers participants the opportunity to optimally prepare for the start of their studies and provides comprehensive factual and procedural knowledge about studying, language and culture in Germany in 8 chapters.

All international students enrolled in the winter semester 2024/25 have the opportunity to participate.

Key information about the course "Welcome to Studying in Germany":

  • Course Start: The next course begins on September 27, 2024, and spans two moderated course weeks, followed by two additional weeks of flexible access to all course content, depending on individual interest and needs. The registration deadline is September 17.
  • Interactive Learning in Groups: Participants learn in small groups with other international students. This promotes exchange and allows participants to make new contacts even before the start of their studies.
  • Personal Support: A trained tutor accompanies the learners, supports the learning process, answers questions, and moderates group discussions.
  • Comprehensive Knowledge: The course covers all the important information that international students need for a successful start in Germany. Topics such as semester planning, learning organization, cultural and linguistic specifics, and much more are covered in detail.
  • Flexibility: The course is online-based. Participants can conveniently access it from anywhere, allowing for optimal adaptation to individual schedules.
  • Cost per Participation: 65.00 EUR
