"The Multicultural Cup" - a multicultural Sportevent

The common sporting spirit knows no boundaries! Not even between cultures. Interculturalism and multiculturalism can be particularly beneficial in sport, where the fun factor is guaranteed to increase!

As part of the course project ‘Interculturality and Practice’, a multicultural sporting event is being organised to which all students at the University of Passau are cordially invited and to which they can enjoy a variety of sports and interculturally mixed teams.

The ‘Multucultural Cup’ will take place in the summer semester 2024 on 13.07.2024 from 14-17 o'clock at the University of Passau Sports Centre.

Programme:

14:00: Arrival and distribution of the groups (according to pre-registration)

Slot 1: 14:30 - 15:30, Volleyball / Football / Brennball

Break: 15:30 - 16:00, intercultural get-together - fun exchange of ideas about cultures (incl. drinks/snacks)

Slot 2: 16:00 - 17:00, Volleyball / Football / Brennball

from 17:00 Cool-Down in Studio12 (until 8 p.m.)

In order to participate, you must register in advance for the respective sports (groups) via Stud.IP. Participation is free of charge.

There is no liability for students participating in this event. Every participants for the duration of the event is liable for him- and herself.
