As part of the Campus meets Company, various lectures are offered to provide insights into possible career paths in a wide variety of fields and to help participants orient themselves towards starting a career.

Your friends told you so… A well-known forum on the internet says… But you still feel, there could be more to tell about working remotely versus in regional companies. We invite alumni with experience in working remotely in a German company from Passau or who joined a local company to this interactive session. Based on your questions, we’ll try to get to the bottom of the topic and bust some of the most common career myths. The session is held in English and designed for international students. However, everyone who has a shiny myth to bust, is welcome.

Luise Haack holds a diploma in Intercultural and Business Studies. Having worked for a regional medical engineering company, she joined the University of Passau again in 2015 to design the iStudi Pass career orientation programme. Her mission is to build bridges for international students into the German job market through empowerment and information.
