Enrique Ramirez is a student research assistant in the research group "Bioeconomy Economics" and works for the project "ReValueD”. He completed his Bachelor’s degree also in Development Studies, with a specialization in Development Management, at the Ateneo De Manila University, Philippines. He is currently taking his Master’s degree in Development Studies at the University of Passau.During his undergraduate studies, he participated in two internship programmes in the humanitarian relief and corporate foundation sectors, respectively. He then worked at a startup company providing workshop organization and project assistance for multilateral development organizations, including the United Nations Development Program and the World Health Organization.He possesses broad research interests, including humanitarian aid, social movements, and gender research. His bachelor thesis focused on a youth-led COVID-19 donations movement in the Philippines.
