Our debating society is primarily dedicated to critical thinking, open debate as well as the opportunity to have a platform to give a voice to everyone who wants to get involved. We welcome anyone and everyone to be a part, regardless of your experience or field of study. You will find that our members are diverse in background and opinions with our main goal giving everyone a chance to voice their opinions.
Our debates range from a variety of serious to fun topics, including politics, current affairs, ideology and of course whether Bavaria should be its own country! Every meeting you will have the chance to partake in the decision making of which topic we are going to discuss that evening, so don’t be shy to bring along your own ideas.
Although we usually have our debates in German, you can contact us If you are interested in debating in English or other languages. We are always open for new ideas! If German is not your first language or if you speak it only at a certain level, you are still very welcome to our German debates, we will definitely find a way to include you and help you enjoy yourself.
