Change of given name and gender entry for transgender students

If you have had your name and gender entry officially changed, you can submit an application to the University of Passau to change your name and gender entry for use in official University documents. Please submit the completed application form (Änderung der Personalien (Change of Personal Details) [German content] to the Student Registration Office. Your contact person is the Head of the Student Registration Office, Beate Seidel.

If you do not yet have an official document reflecting these changes, you can alternatively submit the following document:

Please note that official university documents (such as transcripts and certificates) can only be adapted once we have proof of an official change of name and gender entry. Therefore, please inform the Examinations Office as soon as you have them.
