A Warm Welcome to our Newest Team Member, Züleyha Koltuk
|
We would like to extend a warm welcome to Züleyha Koltuk! Züleyha studied English Literature at Istanbul University and is now doing her masters in European Studies. She has been working in the Social Media Team of unipassau.international and has a fair amount of experience in settling in and dealing with all kinds of daily life challenges as an international student. Züleyha will be assisting our team in public relations, maintaining our website and supporting the publication of our newsletter. She speaks Turkish, English and German.
Dear Züleyha, welcome on board – we are glad to have you.

It is sad to announce, that the time has come to say goodbye to our dedicated colleague, Lena Wilde. Our team is glad to have had her on board for two and a half years.
Lena ensured that our international researchers were well informed as she published our newsletter and informational mailings and took care of our website. Many of you also had the chance to enjoy Lena’s interesting and entertaining Campus tours and to meet her at our events.
Dear Lena, thank you very much for your countless valuable contributions and for being a great teammate. We will surely miss you a lot and wish you all the best for the future, especially for your upcoming time abroad in Lisbon!

Our first networking event will take place on Wednesday, 14 February at 6 p.m. in the club room ITZ 005. This time we will be creative together! We cordially invite you to an art workshop. At this event we will use painting to relax and disconnect for two hours from everyday life. With acrylic paint, each person will have the opportunity to create their own painting on canvas. The Welcome Centre Team will provide all necessary materials and we will also provide you with guidance and assistance if needed. Feel free to bring your own ideas for your personal project. We will also provide some examples to inspire you. Beginners as well as advanced painters are very welcome. This event is also appropriate for children. This workshop is inspired by the principles of art therapy, a psychological discipline that aims to improve mental health and emotional well-being through artistic creation.
Please register by email via researchmobility@uni-passau.de by the 6 February. We look forward to seeing you and getting creative together!
