Indonesian Organic Alliance (Alliansi Organik Indonesia, AOI)
As umbrella organisation for organic agriculture in Indonesia, AOI serves as platform for the organic farming and fair trade movement in the archipelago. By strengthening smallholders’ institutional capacities and facilitating market access for organic products, AOI seeks to improve the livelihoods of small-scale farmers. Given the organisation’s long-standing experience in working with agricultural households on various aspects of organic farming, AOI is an ideal partner to support the IndORGANIC research team in conducting its field experiments.
