This was the Family Day 2024

The University of Passau organized its Family Day for the 12th time on 20 November 2024 (school-free Day of Prayer and Repentance). The Executive Support Unit for Diversity and Gender Equality coordinated the major event again this year.

The University of Passau hosted its Family Day for the 12th time on 20 November 2024 (school-free Day of Prayer and Repentance). 92 schoolchildren from first grade onwards were registered to accompany their parents and carers to their place of work and to get a taste of university life for a day. The children of students and employees of the University of Passau and the Studierendenwerk took part in a total of 12 exciting workshops and were accompanied across the entire campus by assistants from the Executive Support Unit for Diversity and Gender Equality and the workshop leaders.

A big thank you goes to all participating professorships, chairs and institutions as well as all other participants for their commitment and the organization of the diverse workshops!
