From 16:00 to 22:00, you can look forward to a multifaceted open-air programme co-organised by students and university staff. The festival will be opened by Professor Christina Hansen, Vice President for International Affairs and Diversity at the University of Passau, and EW Director Dr Carsten Gerhard at 16:00.
Rock, soul and indie pop, folk, swing and classical music acts will take the stage with both traditional and fusion performances: In combination with that great picnic flair, a rich spectrum of music and entertainment will leave nothing to be desired. The lineup will be featuring Sandy Blade, Sotoon, The Ghost Note Orchestra, the Open Jam Band, 6/8tel, Risky Station, the Uni-Bigband and Magácska, the winners of the 2023 Street Music Competition held in Passau's sister city Veszprém in Hungary. The evening programme will be put together by violin soloist Christian Scholl and the Lower Bavarian Philharmonic Orchestra and consist of works by Mozart.
Food and drinks will be available on site. Admission is free. Our thanks go to all participants, the Festspiele Europäische Wochen Team and especially to the Cultural Promotions Department of the Student Services Association for supporting and organising the student performances. We look forward to celebrating with you on the day!
